Alkali Update
83r Correction Water Doctrine (Voynich Manuscript)
Here is a quick and exciting correction I caught earlier today on a revisit of my translation from ages ago seen here. I previously assumed “cockboats trenching” was metaphorical. Since the time of this translation, my methods have been far more refined and this correction I made thrilled me.
Note: In Irish both are possibilities here:
alcaile » Alkali and alcól, m. (gs. -óil). Alcohol.
Note also in the label I have Aldol which is a 19th century term but broken up it is : al/a dol. Which makes the most sense as follows:
“remove/leave off/out (from/of) loop/draught/haul/cast || drip/drain off length of time”
